Academic Clubs

Model UN

This is key for students in an IB school to be citizens of the world and learn hands-on the ways of diplomacy, politics, and international relations on a mock scale.

Student Council

Their mission is to represent the student body, serve the Clinton community, and communicate with all the members of Clinton while developing good citizenship and democracy among students.

Debate Club (Public forum)

They light the competitive flame of all of their members while learning about a plethora of topics on a deep level. They have tournaments once a month and national tournaments for those who qualify. They hope to get all of our teams to place in the top 5 in their respective divisions by the end of the year, as well as qualify for the Tournament of Champions.

Investment Club

This club's purpose is to inform people on the stock market so that they can start to either trade real money or have some knowledge about the market.

Pre-Med Club

This club is for students who have an interest in the field of medicine - whether it’s because you watch Grey's Anatomy on tv, or think you may want to be a doctor, nurse, physician's assistant, or medical technician, the pre-med club is for learning and fun, all related to the medical profession.

Peer Tutoring

They help middle grades students with academic work, such as homework and study for exams.

Study Club

This group is focused on people coming together to do homework together and help each other when they need it. They also help each other study for tests and make sure they understand classwork.

Science Marvels Club

Their mission statement is to provide a way for middle and high school students to develop confidence in pursuing their dreams in the sciences, build a support network, and establish an open forum of discussion, together.

Art History Club

They use art history and poetry to connect to current lives.

The Clinton Post (Newspaper)

They inform the school on events of Clinton as well as important issues concerning the Clinton community and the world.

The Clinton Soup (Literary and arts magazine)

They aim to collect artwork and writing from students at Clinton, to compile into a published literary magazine at the end of the year.

Clinton Podcasters

They strive to capture the unique voices and diverse experiences of our community. Every student has a valuable story that is waiting to be told and shared with society.

Clinton Band

To bring all types of people together through music.

Yearbook Club

They create an inclusive yearbook that represents the Clinton experience for all seniors.

Clinton Theater Company

The CTC is a club for students at Clinton who love theater, both onstage and offstage. Our goal is to support and nurture the theater community at Clinton, as well as provide a safe space for anyone who is interested in theater, whether that is performing, working backstage, or having an open space to talk about their favorite shows and experiences. 

Accomplishment Theater Handbook

Musicals- Urinetown, Legally Blonde, Rent, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Clinton TV

They increase school spirit through educational/entertaining videos.

Accomplishments- Created an Instagram Account @ClintonTelevision and organized a Pre-Runaway show for the Class of 2019 prom.You can follow them to see other events at The Clinton School.

Fashion Club

Their mission is to have a place of creativity and inclusivity. This will unite students more since we are a fashion orientated community.

They play dungeons and dragons in a fun strategic way.

Chess Club

They challenge minds and grow with the game of chess.

Board Game Club

They have fun playing games and making new friends

Jewelry Making Club

They make their own handmade/homemade jewelry from scratch for a good cause (for example raising money for charity by selling the jewelry we make)

Book Club

Providing an environment for readers, encourage Clinton students to read, and support the book community

French Club

They want to broaden their cultural understanding by exploring the language, history, and culture of French-speaking countries.

Sports Clubs

Clinton also offers different sports as clubs at various times of the school year depending on the gym schedule and season. All students are encouraged to join a sports club of their interest. Here are some of the sports clubs that are offered throughout the school year at Clinton
